From the vineyards of Massaciuccoli and San Macario, on the hill between Lucca and Viareggio, at an altitude of 250 meters, we present the Tenuta’s Organic Pinot Noir, obtained from grapes harvested manually in the first week of September. Intense red color and strong and balanced character make it an interesting wine, its freshness and its aromas make it excellent for combinations with menus based on both red and white meats, but also suitable for first courses based on fish and cacciucco

Blending vines: 100% Pinot Nero

Vinification and aging: With the aim of getting the most out of our grapes, the harvest is exclusively manual. The grapes transported in small baskets to the cellar, are de-stemmed and immediately placed in the couves. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete containers, at 24 ° for 7/8 days. The refinement takes place with passage in oak barriques for about 10 new months in the first part of the refinement and second passage oak barriques in the second part. The non-filtered wine is then bottled and left in the bottle for another 3/4 months before being marketed.
